B&B Means Something a Little Different at Heavy Seas' Bacon & Beer Festival, Sept 13

B&B Means Something a Little Different at Heavy Seas' Bacon & Beer Festival, Sept 13

When some people hear the term B & B, they think of quaint, cozy inns. We at Drink Baltimore, however, think something else entirely: Beer and Bacon. So, needless to say, we really couldn’t be more giddy with anticipation for the upcoming event at Heavy Seas Brewery dedicated to both of those indulgences.

On September 13 from 12–4 PM, Heavy Seas is pulling out all the stops with unlimited access to 12 or more beers on draft or cask, some created specifically for the event, along with unlimited bacon dishes from some of the best Maryland joints for bacony goodness like Kloby’s Smokehouse, Myth and Moonshine, White Oak Tavern, Heavy Seas Alehouse (of course) and several others.

As if all you can sip and savor isn’t enough, live bacon cooking demos and live music from local classic rock and blues band Black Falls will be on-site as well. Adding an extra dash of Heavy Seas character is the costume contest for which there will be prizes to honor the Best Dressed and the Sexiest Pirate in honor of upcoming Talk Like A Pirate Day (September 19). Time to get out your eye patches and corsets, folks.

A few not to be missed vendors will be in attendance too, like local chocolatier Parfections (creator of decadent barks like the Dark Chocolate Bacon Bark as well as truffles made with Heavy Seas boozy concoctions), Cabot Creamery and Fat City Meat Company.

To make sure they didn’t miss out on any of the important details, Heavy Seas paired with Uber to ensure a safe night getting to and from their brewery in Halethorpe. First time users of the popular rideshare app will get free rides up to $25 just for using the code “HEAVYSEAS”.
