While most people may choose to celebrate Christmas Day at home with family, that won't work for all of us! Here’s a list of bars open on Christmas, so you can get out for a bit if the eggnog runs dry or the ham comes out burnt.
 
12 Steps Down (831 Christian St.)
Open from 7 PM–2 AM.
 
Bridget Foy's (200 South St.)
Open from 4–9 PM with a la carte menu.
 
Bottle Bar (1308 Frankford Ave.)
Open 3 PM–2 AM.
 
Cavanaugh’s Headhouse (421 S 2nd St.)
Open from 8 PM–2 AM.
 
Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse (1823 Sansom St.)
Open from 7 PM–2 AM.
 
Doobies (2201 Lombard St.)
Open from 6 PM–2 AM.
 
Grey Lodge Pub (6235 Frankford Ave.)
Open from 8 PM–2 AM.
 
Little Lion (243 Chestnut St.)
Open from 10 AM–4 PM with a special Christmas brunch buffet, including buffalo biscuits and gravy and red velvet stuffed French toast. From 5 PM–9 PM, they’re also offering a dinner buffet featuring seafood and BBQ.
 
O'Neals Pub (611 S 3rd St.)
Open from 9 AM–2 AM.
 
Pub on Passyunk East (1501 Passyunk Ave.)
Open from 6PM–2 AM without kitchen service.
 
Taproom on 19th (2400 S 19th St.)
Open from 4 PM–2 AM with limited menu of snacks.
 
Red Owl Tavern (433 Chestnut St.)
Open from 8 AM–10 PM with a special Chinatown pop-up feast including Peking Duck and special cocktails like a “Pork Fried Rice” with Peychauds bitters, Falernum, Rittenhouse Rye and sczechuan peppercorn tincture.
 
Urban Farmer (1850 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.)
Opens at 6:30 AM with the last dinner seating taking place at 8 PM and the bar closing at 10 PM.
