Drink Pink in October to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

To your health!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a chance for us to reflect, support and raise money for cancer research and help the recovery of cancer survivors. Drink Pink is a common refrain during October as bars, restaurants and breweries help this campaign with fundraising and awareness. DrinkDenver has put together a list of where you can Drink Pink this month. Now go do your part to help by raising a glass and a toast to those we have lost, those still fighting the fight and to those who will never experience this disease in the future because of our efforts.

Denver Beer Company, Princess Yum Yum
During the month of October Denver Beer Company and its distributer, Breakthru Beverage will each donate 5% of the sale of Princess Yum Yum cans, pints, kegs and swag to the Colorado chapter of the American Cancer Society. Princess Yum Yum is a pink colored Raspberry Kolsch that is one of the brewery’s most popular beers and is sold around the state making this a beer you can buy at your local liquor store if you can’t make it to the brewery. Denver Beer and Breakthru will also host the Pink Beer Garden at the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 22, at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village. The beer garden will pour a pint of Princess Yum Yum to all participants.  (1695 Platte St.; 303-433-2739)
