Capitol City Brewing Hosts 13th Annual Mid-Atlantic Oktoberfest, Oct. 6
On Saturday, October 6, Capitol City Brewing will celebrate two decades of crafting great, local beer at the 13th annual Mid-Atlantic Oktoberfest Beer Festival. The daylong fest takes place from noon-7 PM at Arlington’s Village at Shirlington, and will feature more than 50 local breweries serving over 100 different beers.
Admission is $25, which includes a commemorative tasting glass and 10 drink tickets (additional tickets are $5 for five). Food at the festival will include traditional German bites like bratwurst, sauerkraut and soft pretzels. Live Alpine music will play to set the party mood.
The event is touted as the largest Oktoberfest celebration in Northern Virginia, and will take place rain or shine, and children and designated drivers are welcome to come for free. Tickets are available on site on a first come, first serve basis.
