Capitol Hill standby Belga Cafe wants to introduce you to the renowned sour brews of the Flemish region, and so on Tuesday, February 28, they’re holding a “Sour Valentine” beer dinner. The $49 per person meal features three courses of chef Bart Vandaele’s creative Belgian-inspired fare, along with not three, not four, but seven different Belgian style brews.

Because there are only so many pucker-inducing sips that even the most diehard lambic and gueuze beer fans can handle in one sitting, several of the pours will feature other Belgian styles. As you arrive at 6:30 PM, prepare to enjoy the chocolate tones of Fort Collins-based New Belgium Brewery’s Clutch.
