Recap: Drink DC Launch Party at Smith Commons

On October 27, Drink DC took over the second floor of H Street’s fantastic Smith Commons for our launch party. If you didn’t make it, you missed excellent brews from Chocolate City, tasty cocktails with (BELVEDERE) RED and free t-shirts proclaiming your love for real beer. Reps from the Atlas Performing Arts Center were on hand to and to receive $1 from each beer and $3 from each cocktail as donations.

 

The Atlas also brought performance tickets for our hourly raffles (prizes also included a Han Solo in carbonite ice tray). Guerrilla apparel company Truth Among Liars brought a mobile screen-printing mini-factory and created t-shirts on site, while DJ Benny C spun tunes from his third floor booth. Eats from chef-de-cuisine Carlos Delgado were available to pair with the drinks throughout the Thursday eve.
