Though the actual brewery and associated pub aren’t launching for at least a few months (and maybe not until 2013), forthcoming Bluejacket Brewery from Neighborhood Restaurant Group has several beers ready to go. Be one of the inaugural tasters at the release party at ChurchKey on Wednesday, August 1.

Beginning at 6 PM, five drafts from beer director Greg Engert and head brewer Megan Parisi will begin pouring, including the first Bluejacket signature beer, Sidewalk Saison (brewed at West Chester, PA’s Iron Hill Brewery). Other new releases will be Washington O.C., a Belgian quad brewed in collaboration with Orange County, CA’s The Bruery and Burns’ Night, created with Pizza Port in Ocean Beach, CA.

The other two taps, while previously launched, are still worth sipping. Snack Attack is a collab with Tampa, FL’s Cigar City and Boca Raton, FL’s Funky Buddha and Black Berliner Techno Weiss was created in partnership with Lexington, VA’s Devil’s Backbone Brewing Co.
