Nats Brew: Craft Beer Options at Nationals Park
The Nats aren’t the only thing heating up at Nationals Park this year — the venue’s selection of craft brews is also stepping up to the plate. Nothing against Miller Lite (there’s a time and a place!), but there’s something better about watching a ballgame with a top-notch, regionally produced beer in hand. Here’s what we’ll be looking for this season.
Flying Dog: The Frederick, MD brewery’s Belgian-style IPA, UnderDog Atlantic Lager and Snake Dog IPA can be found all season long at the Red Porch, the Red Loft Bar and other general concession stands.
Dogfish Head: Find brews from the Milton, DE brewery, which has an alehouse in Gaitherburg, at Center Field’s Red Red Loft Bar.
Heavy Seas: Pirate-themed brews from Maryland’s Heavy Seas are also available at Red Porch/Red Loft Bar.
Ommegang: Last season, the Cooperstown, NY brewery's Hennepin, a farmhouse saison, was available on draft — here’s hoping we find it there this year too!
Know of another that we missed? Any of D.C.'s own making its way into the ballpark? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter.
