When the dog days of summer hit DC, there’s no better way to cool off than with ice cold beers and refreshing cocktails. Check out our list of bars to visit this summer.

Game of Thrones Pop-up Bar
Fans of the hit HBO show have another reason to look forward to summertime: Post up at the transformed space (normally Southern Efficiency, Mockingbird Hill and Eat the Rich) and order up themed drinks including the Dothraquiri (rum, oloroso, orgeat, pineapple, lemon, salt), Shame (tequila and grapefruit tonic) and The North Remembers (a Scotch-inspired pina colada). Grab a beverage and time your visit to coordinate with one of the many outdoor activities hosted at Union Market, like the monthly summer Drive-In movies. (1309 5th St, NE)
