We've all been there… it's past happy hour, it's past dinnertime, but the craving for bar bites and discounted drinks persists. Take a look at our picks for best late night happy hours for the next time those hunger (and drinking) pangs hit you late at night.

The neighborhood bar on 18th Street features an all-night happy hour on Monday - start your week off right with discounted select wine, beer, tiki cocktails on tap, and various bites including their famous Catalan fries, wings, soft pretzels, burgers and more. (1825 18th St, NW; 202-627-2183)

Dino's Grotto
Stop by the Italian restaurant and bar in Shaw on Sundays and Mondays for all night happy hour (Sunday happy hour available all day). Enjoy drinks on special including $4 local taps, $6 house wine, prosecco and bellinis and $8 signature cocktails. (1914 9th St, NW; 202-686-2966)

District Commons
Take advantage of the late night happy hour deals at the Foggy Bottom restaurant featuring $5 signature drinks, rail drinks, select draft beers, and select red, white and sparkling wines. Available Monday - Friday 10 PM to close and Sunday 4 PM to close. (2200 Pennsylvania Ave, NW; 202-587-827)

El Camino
Get your fill of late night tacos, burritos and drinks at the Bloomingdale Mexican kitchen. Monday - Friday from 10:30 PM to close, you’ll get $5 margaritas, Negra Modelos, red or white wine, rail drinks; $3 Tecates; and $1 chips and salsa. (108 Rhode Island Ave, NW; 202-847-0419)

Oyamel
Jose Andres’ Mexican cocina offers plenty of food and drink options for the late night crowd - bites include an array of tacos ($4 -$4.50), hot small plates including queso fundido and albondigos ($8-$9) and cocktails including their famous margaritas, select beer and wine. Penn Commons
The Chinatown bar is a perfect spot for watching Capitals game, but it’s also got great happy hour deals including $5 signature drinks, 14 oz. draft beers, and select wines and $8 22 oz draft beers. Available Monday - Saturday 4 PM to close and Sunday all day. (700 6th St, NW; 202-905-2999)

Slate Wine Bar + Bistro
What’s better than late night happy hour? Weekend late night happy hour. At the Glover Park wine bar, enjoy snacks on special like Duck Breast Egg Rolls, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Mini Crabcakes and more in addition to $5 select draft beer, $7 house wines and $7 select cocktails.
