These DC Bars are Open on Christmas Day

This holiday season, let someone else cook your Christmas dinner while you sit back, relax and enjoy time with the family. Instead of toiling under the stress of hosting, head out to these restaurants open on Christmas Day.

Blue Duck Tavern
Three-course holiday meal including starters like seasonal salads, breads, meats and cheeses; plated entrees and family-style side dishes, followed by seasonal desserts and the popular Pastry Pastry. $125 per person, $55 for children; 12 - 8:30 PM (1201 24th St, NW; 202-419-6755)

Firefly
The Dupont Circle restaurant will offer its regular menu as well as a traditional Turkey Dinner on Christmas Day. 5:30 - 7:45 PM (1310 New Hampshire Ave, NW; 202-861-1310)

Ristorante Piccolo
The Italian Trattoria will have its regular menu available during Christmas Day - enjoy an Italian feast all set against the backdrop of festive decor and a cozy interior. (1068 31st St, NW; 202-342-7414)

Sequoia
Head to the Georgetown Waterfront restaurant for a Christmas buffet including multiple salad options; a raw bar; breakfast items (think French toast and Spinach and Sausage Frittata; clam chowder; Hot Food stations including southern fried chicken, cheddar grits and seafood paella; a taqueria station; carving station and more. Sette Osteria
The Dupont Circle Italian restaurant will offer its regular menu in addition to a three course pre-set menu with items including risotto short ribs, veal chops and whole fish. (1666 Connecticut Ave, NW; 202-483-3070)

Succotash
In addition to Southern-inspired cuisine, on Christmas Day, enjoy festive menu add-ons from the team at Succotash (including a scallop and crab salad and chocolate yule log). (901 F St, NW; 202-849-6933)

Teddy and the Bully Bar
From 12 - 8 PM, enjoy a holiday meal with items like Butternut Squash Soup; a carving station (with roasted turkey, lamb chops, wild salmon, and Virginia ham); traditional sides like Brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, and mac and cheese; and a la carte desserts. $60 per person, $21 for children. Tiger Fork
Indulge in Hong-Kong style dishes like bao buns, traditional noodle dishes, bao buns and more from 2 - 8 PM. (922 N St, NW; 202-733-1152)
