DC Restaurant Week
Enjoy three course meals at some of DC’s best restaurants without breaking the bank during winter restaurant week. Dorjee Momo Pop-up Vegan Dinner
Get a taste of the Himalayas at Dorjee Momo's vegan pop-up dinner at Big Bear Café. If you missed out on the team's recent stint at Shop Made in DC, snag your tickets to sample a range of foods inspired by the flavors of Tibet, India and Nepal. January 14, tickets are $78.
Sips & Suppers
The 10th annual event features two days of festivities bringing together the best chefs and mixologists in the city to support local organizations, DC Central Kitchen and Martha’s Table. Cocktails take the stage on the first night with signature dishes and sippers at the Newseum, while the second evening of Suppers highlights teams of chefs hosting dinners around the city with a focus on food and conversation. January 27-28, tickets start at $125.
Somms Uncorked at Jaleo Crystal City
The January 2018 rendition of the monthly series will pit ThinkFoodGroup's Master Sommelier, Andy Myers, against Starr Restaurants' Wine Director, Erik Segelbaum in an epic five-course dinner (from Jaleo Crystal City Head Chef Aaron Helfand - menu items will include some special dishes not usually featured on the regular menu) and ten unique wine pairings. January 8, tickets are $125.
Suds ‘n’ Snowflakes
From Drink the District, comes this winter festival complete with beers, mulled wine, fire pits and live music. Tickets come with unlimited sampling of over 50 winter beers, ciders and wines, access to shop Made in DC items from the districts best artisans, and entry to an outdoor cigar lounge and winter beer garden. January 19-20, tickets start at $25.
