Where to Watch the 90th Academy Awards in D.C.

When all of Hollywood dons their best gowns and tuxedos for the 90th Academy Awards, here’s where to catch all of the big screen action in DC.

The DC Film Society is hosting its 26th Annual “And The Winner is….” Oscar Night party at the old school theater. Catch all of the Academy Awards action on the big screen while DC film critics Tim Gordon and Travis Hopson give their insight on the night - enter the “Joe Barber Predict the Winner’s” contest by placing bids in the Silent Auction. Tickets are $20, 6:30 PM. (2903 Columbia Pike, Arlington; 703-486-2345)

The Logan Circle bar’s 7th Annual Oscar Viewing Party will feature themed cocktails (The Darkest Hour: English Breakfast-infused London Dry Gin; The Elio Elio Elio: Fernet, Campari, Vermouth, Prosecco; and The Shape of Water Fishbowl) and small plates (like Lady Bird’s Quail Egg Ramen), and all-day happy hour throughout the restaurant. If all of that wasn’t enough,  guests will win a complimentary glass of sparkling wine if they correctly guess category winners. 4 PM - Midnight. (1443 P St, NW; 202-299-0018)

Head to the Dupont Circle lounge to experience the Oscars on a large projection screen - the viewing party includes a live DJ so be prepared for a pre-Oscars dance party and then get ready to watch the big production while enjoying passed appetizers and drinks available for purchase at the bar. Tickets are $20, 7 PM. (1220 Connecticut Ave, NW; 202-466-2582)

The Adams Morgan sports bar is rolling out the red carpet for its annual Oscar Watch Party, literally - stop by to experience the red carpet complete with giant statues. Stay for a special movie trivia night and then watch the Oscars while enjoying a specialty cocktail and special menu items. 6:30 PM. (2411 18th St, NW; 202-234-3070)

Living Room Bar at the W Hotel will host a swanky Oscars viewing party - dress in your best red carpet outfit and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival. The party will also feature themed cocktails and specialty popcorn paired with champagne. (515 15th St, NW; 202-661-2400)
