Degas' Dance Cocktail Special at Urbana

The Phillips Collection is currently hosting an exhibit of Degas’ famous ballet paintings (Degas’ Dancers at the Barre: Point and Counterpoint), and Dupont’s Urbana is introducing several special menu items to commemorate the show just down the block.
From October 1–January 8, impressionist-minded patrons can order the “Degas’ Dance” cocktail. The fall-inspired concoction created by bar manager Obi Emenyonu features Absolut vodka, peach schnapps, amaretto, cranberry and lime juice and muddled plums ($13).
If you stop by with tickets to the art show, the drink (or a glass of house wine, if preferred) is yours free, with the purchase of any lunch or dinner entree. Additionally, for each entree purchased by a ticketholder, Urbana will donate $1 to The Phillips Collection.
Chef John Critchley is also offering a $50 Degas-inspired three-course prix fixe menu, which includes the cocktail or house wine, an amuse bouche, your choice of appetizer, a main course and dessert of the housemade sugar-plum ice cream, created specially for this promotion.
