Firefly's New Autumn Cocktails & Seven Salty Snacks

Dupont Circle’s Firefly is welcoming the cool weather chill with a slate of new cocktails designed to warm your soul, or at least your belly. Assistant GM Eric Santiago – who gained major mixology experience at Boston’s Armani Cafe – came up with the new concoctions, meant to pair with chef Danny Bortnick’s modern American eats. And the best part? Each week, one of the drinks will be just $6 during weekday happy hour (Monday–Friday, 4–7 PM; they’re usually $12.50, so that’s more than half off!).

Sweeten your evening with the Bourbon Cream Soda, cinnamon-infused Maker’s Mark with housemade vanilla syrup and soda, or get your autumn on with the fig-infused Hennessey, port and apple juice Miss Figgy. Beer makes a splash in the Bathtub Gin, a mix of Heavy Seas Golden Ale, Aviation gin, simple syrup and fresh lemon. All proceeds from citrusy vodka-sparkling wine combo The Pink Lady will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Food at happy hour also got a refresh, with a new Seven Salty Snacks menu, featuring $5 bites like deviled eggs, chicken-fried oysters, poached octopus with avocado and truffle fries. Check out the full cocktail and snack menu, below.
