Pizzeria Paradiso 20th Anniversary Celebration

What: Drink specials to celebrate 20 years in business

Price: First beer is 20 cents

Specials are being offered almost every day this weekend, as the pizzeria (which was featured in our 9 Best Craft Beer Bars article last week) commemorates its 20th anniversary.

Oyster & Wine Tasting

What: Special oyster and wine pairing dinner
When: 3–5 PM, Saturday, November 12
Where: BlackSalt, 4883 MacArthur Blvd.
Price: $85 in advance; $95 at the door

BlackSalt will be serving over a dozen different Oysters from North America served freshly shucked on the half-shell, grilled, fried and as Rockefeller. To wash them all down they’ll be pouring 7 different wines from around the world.

DC Tweed Ride and After Party

What: Fancy bicycle ride through the city and after party
When: 10 AM bike ride, 4 PM party
Where: Smith Commons, 1245 H Street, NE
Price: Bike ride is free, party is $15

Get out your jodhpurs and fascinators, the DC Tweed Ride is back. Dandies & Quaintrelles will take to the streets for a spirited ride through the city. The post-ride celebration will take place at Smith Commons with a seasonal menu of small plate snacks and crafting specialty cocktail punches. Register in advance to reserve your spot, space is limited.
