Didn’t make it down to Louisiana for Fat Tuesday this year? Have no fear, D.C.’s got enough Mardi Gras celebratin’ going on to make New Orleans blush. Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration, but check out this roundup of pre-Lenten bacchanalia, get dressed in your best gold, green and purple and get ready to enjoy the night like a Bourbon Street boss.

18th Amendment: $4 Abita beers; $3 shooters; cajun food specials

Acadiana: $45 four-course Mardi Gras feast; $5 wines & specialty cocktails; $4 12-oz. drafts; special bar menu including cracklings, crawfish bread & frog legs

Bayou: $4 Abita drafts; $5 hurricanes; $25 all you can eat buffet with live jazz

Bayou Bakery: $21 “Brew D’at” card includes choice of 3 of Abita Draft, Abita Bottle, punch and a special cup; Rappahannock River Oysters will be shucking free oysters all night

Black Jack: $3 Abita drafts; $7 hurricanes; po’ boys; free beads

Ceiba: $5 Caipirinhas; $5 Brazilian snacks including black-eyed pea and shrimp fritters

Central: Live New Orleans jazz music at 7 PM; $11–$13 New Orleans cocktails; complimentary beads

Jackson 20: $7 hurricanes, Crescent City fizzes, Abita “Mardi Gras” Bock, Abita Purple Haze, Abita Restoration, Dixie Lager, Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager; live music at 8 PM
