Grow Your Mo: Movember Events in Washington, D.C.
Do you know where to find your local Mo Bros? Every November, a nationwide movement sees men shave clean at the beginning of the month and spend the next 30 days growing a moustache — aka a “mo.” The campaign’s goal is to raise awareness of (and funds for) men’s health issues, especially prostate and testicular cancer.
Several bars throughout the District are hosting events to commemorate Movember, and you don’t have to be growing a mo to take part (Mo Sistas are welcome participants). Check out a list of where to get your facial-hair appreciation on and support a good cause along the way. Know of more events? Let us know on Twitter, Facebook or in the comments below.
