Bibiana's Advent Calendar of Cocktails: 25 New Drinks for December
Winter drink menus have popped up all over town, but we haven’t seen any quite as expansive as the 25 new cocktails just introduced at Penn Quarter’s Bibiana. Beverage director Michael King has come up with just over two dozen new libations so that interested drinkers can try one each day leading up to Christmas. It’s like an advent calendar for mixology geeks!
Each of the new drinks goes for $12, and sipping options range from Vin Brulé (warm mulled wine with spices) to the Sanguinella (bourbon, Luxardo Maraschino, Campari, blood orange juice) to a barrel-aged Negroni.
When you stop in to the Italian lounge to try these out, pair your drink with one of chef Necholas Stefanelli’s new snack selection — black truffle pork skins might work great with one of the bourbon drinks. If you do stay for dinner, add a final flourish to your meal with the housemade Rosolio, a traditional after-dinner liqueur made from lemons, mandarin oranges, fennel and other ingredients.
