Want to impress your family at this year’s holiday gathering? Sign up for a mixology class at Ripple in Cleveland Park and learn the secrets to shaking up some killer drinks. Head bartender Josh Berner will lead you through the ropes and you’ll also get to sip on three full cocktails and nibble on snacks as you learn.

The first fall session takes place from 3:30–5 PM on Saturday, November 10, and focuses on the Manhattan. You’ll hear about the history of the classic drink, bone up on mixing tips and check out a few funky variations that are sure to freak grandma out when you suggest them at Thanksgiving.

On Saturday, December 8, the class will cover holiday cocktails in general, so you’ll be ready to host a big dinner, an office party or just wow a few friends. Bonus: the grilled cheese bar will be open through 6:30 PM on each of these Saturdays, so you can feed that buzz with some melted goods when you're done.
