DC's Top Chef's Featured at Chef's Best
Save the date for the Chef’s Best Dinner and Auction to benefit Food and Friends at the Marriot Marquis on Monday, June 19. An all-start lineup of DC’s best chefs will be led by Chef Chair Marjorie Meek-Bradley of Smoked and Stacked. Enjoy an evening of food, an exciting auction, and the chance to help the Food and Friends mission.
Food and Friends has a goal to improve the lives and health of local residents by delivering high quality nutritious meals to those who are critically ill with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious ailments. In 2016, the organization delivered over 900,000 meals to more than 2,600 children and adults throughout the DC area. Chef’s Best is the organizations premier fundraiser and raised over $860,000 last year.
Participating restaurants include Logan Tavern, Argia’s, BlackSalt, Dino’s Grotto, Grillfish, Rural Society, and Hank’s Oyster Bar.
Tickets are $350 per person and can be purchased on the Food and Friends’ website. President’s cocktail reception begins at 5:30 PM and main doors open at 6 PM.
