The concoction first recorded in 1630s Britain is now experiencing a renaissance in D.C., where you can find four different house-made versions at GBD, new seasonal varieties at The Passenger (most recently the Darkside Punch with grapefruit, passionfruit and aged rum) and get it at Lincoln the Emancipation Punch, which serves eight people and is just $39 (that's less than $5 per person) during happy hour.
