Where to Brunch This Holiday Monday

There are a few days in the year where it’s awesome to be a resident of the DMV area. Those days mostly consist of holidays where most of the country does not get off from work. Take advantage of your long weekend and have a MondayFunday at these restaurants open for brunch.
 
From 8 AM–4 PM, Commissary will be serving their full brunch menu. Take advantage of the “Breakfast for 2” special and get two coffees, two entrees, and a pitcher of bloody marys or mimosas for $55. (1443 P St, NW; 202-299-0028)
 
Open for brunch from 10 AM–3:30 PM, head to DC Harvest and check out their seasonal menu offerings. Add bottomless mimosas for $15 or bottomless bloody mary’s for $20. (517 H St, NE; 202-629-3296)
 
On MLK Jr. Day, Farmers Fishers Bakers will have serve their regular Farmers Market Brunch featuring favorite dishes like honey pot fried chicken, bruleed grapefruit, and sweet bread french toast. (3000 K St, NW; 202-298-8783)
 
The sister restaurant to Farmers Fishers Bakers will also be open for brunch on the holiday. Stop in for stuffed french toast, buttermilk pancakes, four variations of egg benedicts, and more. (1924 Pennsylvania Ave, NW; 202-822-8783)
 
Enjoy a seafood brunch at Grillfish from 11 AM–4  PM. Menu highlights include $1 oysters, oyster benedicts, and crab cake benedicts. Build your own bloody mary for $10 or opt for the pre-built bloody’s like the Spi-Sea Mary made with wasabi-infused vodka, house bloody mix, wasabi, and seaweed smoked salmon. All holiday weekend long, Masa 14 will be rocking their bottomless brunch. Enjoy endless Latin-Asian small plates with your choice of bottomless brunch cocktails for $39. (1825 14th St, NW; 202-328-1414)
 
Recently opened, Texas Jack’s will be unveiling their new brunch menu over the holiday weekend and will be serving on MLK Jr. Day from 11 AM–3 PM. Menu highlights include huevos rancheros, Monte Cristo “Sandweesh” with your choice of brisket or pulled pork, and shrimp and grits. (2761 Washington Blvd, Arlington; 703-875-0477)
 
From 10:30 AM–3 PM, indulge in porky delights such as the ever-popular face bacon, roasted pork belly, and the crispy pork loin sandwich. (1320 14th St, NW; 202-290-2821)
 
All weekend long from 11 AM–5 PM, Toro Toro will have their “Free Flowing Brunch” with endless shared plates and bloody mary bar for $39. (1300 I St, NW; 202-202-682-9500)
 
Early-risers rejoice! Urbana’s MLK Jr. Day brunch begins at 8 AM and ends at 3 PM. Enjoy bottomless bellinis for $16 with purchase of an entree. (2121 P St, NW; 202-956-6650)
 
From 10 AM–3 PM all weekend long Zengo will be serving up its popular bottomless brunch. For $39, you’ll get endless small plates including dim sum, sushi, and ceviche dishes as well as free flowing brunch cocktails. (781 7th St, NW; 202-393-2929)
